Green Hornets:Crew wins college showcase tourneyPublished 04/10/08
Green Hornets under-17 boys soccer team, the Crew, won its division championship.
The prestigious tournament, the 2008 MAPS/MSSL Spring College Showcase, attracted more than 100 college coaches to watch the games and scout the players for their colleges and universities. It was held March 21-22 at Fort Dix, N.J.
The Crew, which competes in the First Division of the National Capital Soccer League, boasts 10 All-County players from Anne Arundel County.
