The prestigious tournament, the 2008 MAPS/MSSL Spring College Showcase, attracted more than 100 college coaches to watch the games and scout the players for their colleges and universities. It was held March 21-22 at Fort Dix, N.J.
The Crew, which competes in the First Division of the National Capital Soccer League, boasts 10 All-County players from Anne Arundel County. In the past, NCAA Division I colleges expressed interest in 151 high school seniors off MAPS boys teams in 2001, while 145 other players also went to NCAA Division II and Division...
