Severna Park Middle School and the Severn School are racing to complete at least part of their multi-million dollar projects before school opens.

A.R. Marani Construcation Co. from Baltimore will install the artifical turf on the fields in front of the Edward St. John Athletic Center at Severn School in Severna Park.The Edward St. John Athletic Center includes a 44,000-square-foot building and revamped athletic fields at the private Severn School. Mr. St. John, who owns St. John's Properties in Baltimore, donated $5 million for the project, which broke ground in 2006. Kristyn Kuhn, Severn's communication director, praised those who contributed an additional $5 million. middle school oak trees - August 7, 2008
Glad to see that you mentioned the huge oak trees that were removed for this project. This access road could have easily been located twenty feet to the left or right, instead they removed every tree between the middle school and Benfield. Way to be green, guys.
