Green Hornets: Rugby completes successful seasonPublished 08/14/08
The Green Hornets rugby coed two-hand touch program just wrapped up an exciting season, according to Commissioner Scott Wasserman.

Green Hornets rugby player Jared Wasserman is about to score."There were many highlights this season. Our enrollment more than doubled this year," Mr. Wasserman said. At the end-of-the-year PRUYL tournament held Aug. 2-3, the Hornets entered three teams, he said. The U15 group went 4-and-1 and won the plate division. The only loss came from play against the winners of the tournament. The U13 group went 3-and-2 to win the bowl division. The Hornets ruggers played their hearts out throughout the tourney.
