Around the Park: Web site to help kids fight obesity, get active

Three Severna Park business professionals Linda Kreter, Daniel Lund and Tom McCollum, have launched a new health education Web site called www.Wisenhimer.com.

Geared toward children age 5 to 12, part of its focus is on the struggle of maintaining a healthy weight, fighting obesity and also Type 2 diabetes. Ms. Kreter of Round Bay is the president and CEO of WiseHealth, developers of the site, located on Benfield Road.

The one-year-old software development company, is "heavy into high-tech programming," said Linda, and it employs about 40 people.
