Olivia Burchfield, 11, loves to dribble and shoot baskets. Playing basketball in her neighborhood of Swan Ridge since she was about 6 years old, the 5-foot fifth-grader has compiled quite a record on the indoor court since January as one of the competitors in the Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest.

She's competed against her classmates at Jones Elementary School, winning first place in her age group, then moved to the state and regional levels where she also captured first place.
