Oak Hill Elementary School volunteer Bernard 'Bernie' Seery knows people in the right places — including outer space. Earlier this month, when the kids' attention was still focused more on the books rather than the pool, he arranged for shuttle astronaut Paul Richards to pay a visit to Oak Hill. He entertained and 'kept the kids rapt attention,' said Deneen Houghton, Oak Hill's principal.
