Elena DeMajistre was collecting rocks from the bottom of the Ben Oaks community pond when she grabbed something that didn't feel a thing like hard stone.
Paul w. Gillespie - The CapitalElena DeMajistre, 9, found a 23-year-old driver’s license at the bottom of Scott’s Pond in the Ben Oaks community. The license belonged to her neighbor, Pat Murray, who lived in the community as a boy and moved back nine years ago. The 9-year-old girl had found a provisional driver's license from 1986, and its owner still lives down the street. "I must have been about 16 when I lost it," said Pat Murray, owner of the soggy but completely legible license. "It's just really neat it was still here."
