Green Hornets: SP field hockey juniors shut out scrappy South County team, 6-0Published 10/08/09
Severna Park found its rhythm on offense and defense when they hosted South County on Monday. The Green Hornets field hockey players of the Junior "Stick Interference" League scored six goals and allowed zero en route their sixth victory this season.

The Severna Park junior field hockey team, coached by Molly Gavin, huddles on Severna Park High School turf to prepare for second-half play. SP shut out South County, 6-0, and improved to 6-2."I'm proud of the girls for their hard-fought effort tonight and for approaching each of our games ready to give their all," said Molly Gavin, Green Hornet coach.
