There will be plenty to do around the Park on Saturday as the first Heritage Day, sponsored by the Association for Severna Park Improvement and Enhancement (ASPIRE) kicks off at 10 a.m. with events slated throughout the day.

"We felt that Severna Park needed some sort of event to celebrate it in many ways," said F. Scott Jay, member of ASPIRE and local historian. Scott has led numerous walking tours through the Park over the years and has had many requests from residents for more. Now's your chance.
