The 80-pounders, coached by Marc McDaniel, avenged their season-opening loss against Crofton with a 19-6 win over the Cardinals in the semifinal to earn a berth in the championship.
Crofton went on the board first, but the Hornets answered with three consecutive scores. Alex Green tied it on a 60-yard touchdown, and Brent McVicker scored twice on runs of 60 and 30 yards.
