Becky Pulley is no stranger to combat. She was the first female to be wounded in the Gulf War, Operation Desert Storm while serving on the frontlines in medical and radio. Ironically, it was on the day of the ceasefire, Feb. 28, 1991.

Remembering those who served with her and didn't make it home has been her passion since returning home.
One of her accomplishments is the formation of a nonprofit, of which she is president: Salute the Veterans Inc. dedicated to helping veterans of all wars and their families, from helping them find services to providing social events.
