David Ensor is named 2009 Youth Philanthropist of the Year

It's no coincidence that today's Happy Thanksgiving column centers around the words "thanks" and "giving." David Ensor, 21, of Linstead, was thanked and recognized for his giving spirit by the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County as he was awarded the noble title of 2009 Youth Philanthropist of the Year.
David joined Meri and Philip Gibbs, named 2009 Philanthropists of the Year and Ellenor Alvarez named Volunteer of the Year, at an awards ceremony and luncheon attended by about 200 guests on Nov. 13 in Annapolis.
