Gambrills neighbors organize to fight horse parkPublished 11/19/05
With the prospect of more traffic, more noise and the stink of more manure, neighbors of the former Naval Academy dairy farm in Gambrills are rounding up opposition to a proposed state-run horse park on the site. A small but growing group called WE CARE - We are the Citizens of Anne Arundel County acting in Reverence for our Environment - is forming a nonprofit organization and has set up a Web site www.wecare4farm.com in hopes of blocking a project that would draw thousands of horse enthusiasts into their neighborhood on weekends.
