Gambrills neighbors organize to fight horse park

With the prospect of more traffic, more noise and the stink of more manure, neighbors of the former Naval Academy dairy farm in Gambrills are rounding up opposition to a proposed state-run horse park on the site.

A small but growing group called WE CARE - We are the Citizens of Anne Arundel County acting in Reverence for our Environment - is forming a nonprofit organization and has set up a Web site www.wecare4farm.com in hopes of blocking a project that would draw thousands of horse enthusiasts into their neighborhood on weekends.
