Dark clouds, rain and drizzle kept attendance down at the sixth Annual Fall Festival at The Village of Waugh Chapel Saturday, but some die-hard shoppers looking for a good deal were out and about. Photo no longer available

Josh Palma makes a damp directorial debut for the Arundel High School Band at last Saturday’s Fall Festival at the Village of Waugh Chapel. Merchants dispensed balloons and cotton candy and teams of all kinds splashed their way through their routines to the good-natured applause of rain-soaked spectators. Robert Andrews Day Spa's sidewalk sale was busy with shoppers stuffing bags full of hair and face products. While the cow, the Chick-fil-A mascot, danced to the live musical performances of the Arundel High School Band, the Orioles bird was keeping his feathers dry and signing autographs inside the restaurant.
