Lawmaker hopes for $74 million for BRACPublished 06/26/07
U.S. Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, D-Baltimore County, plans to use federal funds to pay for transportation, water and sewer improvements to support the thousands of jobs coming to the state's military bases.
"We thought the hard part was to get BRAC. Now the hard part is to get the infrastructure to do it right," Mr. Ruppersberger said at yesterday's meeting with the Fort Meade Alliance.
