Hot rods, muscle cars and more — and not all of those were in the parking lot. The unique and handcrafted cars were found at Odenton Elementary School's gymnasium on a recent Saturday.

More than 40 boys from Cub Scout Pack 769 felt the need for speed without screeching tires, burning rubber and loud motors. These racers aren't even old enough for a learner's permit but that didn't deter their racing spirit. This could only mean one thing — it was Pinewood Derby time.
