Epiphany Episcopal Church had its roots in Odenton in 1918, serving the men who passed through its doors on their way to war.
When originally constructed, the church was laid out in the shape of a cross in an ''Arts and Crafts'' style, designed by architect Riggin Buckler, a prominent member of Maryland society at the time.
