Upscale shops set for Rt. 3 projectPublished 06/23/08
A new development on Route 3 will add a cache of shops and restaurants to a market its builders said is underserved when it comes to upscale services.

Annapolis developer SiteWorks hopes Main Street Waugh Chapel will include a high-end coffee shop, restaurants, a salon, a wine shop and restaurants that will be well used by the 70,000 motorists that pass the northeast corner of Route 3 and Riedel Road each day. I hope his permit gets rejected. As the article states, there is a long list of projects on route 3. We really don't need another silly strip mall. It is sooooo close to houses that it will drive down home values. In this already declining market we really don't need any help lowering home values do we?
