In August, the Webelo-I and Webelo-II dens visited 7 Oaks Auto Center in Odenton and owner Tony Perillo helped the boys earn the Webelo Handyman pin. Mr. Perillo showed the boys how to change a flat tire, how to check the tire pressure, how to check the various fluid levels in a car, to change a headlight on a car and how to properly take care of their tools.
The Webelo dens also visited the Patuxent Wildlife Refuge and spoke to several rangers and toured the facility. While there, the boys began work on their Webelos Forester pin.
