Around West County: All Odenton turns out for the annual celebration of Odenton Day

The weather was perfect for a community gathering on Saturday drawing hundreds of residents to the third annual Odenton Day held at the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company.

"It gets bigger and better each year," said Bruce McPherson, an Odenton volunteer fireman and member of Greater Odenton Improvement Association who helped bring this day about. "This year, we added the GOIA 5K run and 1-mile fun walk on the Baltimore & Annapolis Trail. Prizes were awarded for each age category."

Inside the fire hall, more than 50 local businesses, civic organizations and county service providers staffed information...
