The weather was perfect for a community gathering on Saturday drawing hundreds of residents to the third annual Odenton Day held at the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company.

Brady Ferrin, 10, at left, from Linthicum Cub Scout Pack 843 gets a lesson in first aid from Matthew Gunter and Michael Toney of Odenton Boy Scout Troop 721 at Odenton Day last Saturday."It gets bigger and better each year," said Bruce McPherson, an Odenton volunteer fireman and member of Greater Odenton Improvement Association who helped bring this day about. "This year, we added the GOIA 5K run and 1-mile fun walk on the Baltimore & Annapolis Trail. Prizes were awarded for each age category."
