Farm hosts Acoustic & Roots Music FestivalPublished 07/25/03
Got music? You will this weekend, when the Horizon Organic Acoustic & Roots Music Festival serves up a full glass of what does a body - and soul - good at the dairy's farm and education center in Gambrills. Beginning tonight, what is being billed as a weekend of pure sounds, natural rhythms and good clean fun gets under way courtesy of some of the best local and national acoustic acts around. The festival is a feast of musical genres, featuring the granddaddy of flat-picking guitar, Doc Watson, and the new wave Irish traditions of Lunasa.
