If you live in or near Annapolis and have not taken the time to learn to sail, you are missing a major perk of proximity. You live near the Chesapeake Bay and, by many accounts, the Sailing Capital of the World. What are you waiting for? So, where do you get started? You could enlist a family member or friend, a path to learning that countless sailors have taken. But that approach sometimes takes more time and patience - not to mention the paybacks - than some people can spare in their busy lives.
