Boats, of course, are the powerboat show's top attention grabber. But there is more to the show and Annapolis outside the show grounds. Roam with me to some events, people, advice, traditions and food that make Annapolis the "world's best boat show town." McGARVEY'S WATERING HOLE: Open daily from 11:30, 8 Market Space, just a few steps from main show entrance. Our favorite eatery and watering hole since 1982. A few neat specials worth trying. Monday, red beans and rice, Louisiana in all its glory. Wednesday, meat loaf, like at home. Thursday, mussels. No TVs blaring, in fact, not at all. Tell the Captain we sent you. EAT AT...
