Any Annapolitan arriving in a time capsule that was dispatched from 20 years ago would have a great deal of difficulty identifying Parole these days. Shopping for groceries at Magruder's or shoes at Woodie's? A thing of the past, for there is a barren landscape of dirt where those venerable institutions used to reside. On the other hand, the ambitious project that will occupy that space will be a major contributor to the revitalization of the Parole area.
