We tend to approach hotel restaurant reviews with a certain amount of trepidation. We've been subjected to too much indifferent hotel/motel/inn food the length of I-95 and points west. Alas, except for a few premium pockets, the days of the great old hotel restaurants are gone.
We're delighted to report that Ports of Call is a delicious exception to this rule of interstate dining. Management is out to make the Doubletree Hotel's restaurant not only a memorable experience for visitors, but also a very credible contender on the local scene. Judging by our recent meal there, they're well under way to their goal.
