Well, the joint was jumping, and the place was packed. Rose out of my seat, I just had to dance, and they never stopped rockin' at the - 9th Annual Battle of the Bands!
Apologies to Chuck Berry for flubbing his lyrics ("Around and 'Round"), but it just goes to illustrate that anything can happen in the highly charged atmosphere of this year's Battle of the Bands competition, which will be held tomorrow at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis (doors open 5 p.m., first band performs at 5:30 p.m.).
