The 56th annual Anne Arundel County Fair kicks off Wednesday

C'mon down! - to the fair that is. Excitement fills the air as the 56th annual Anne Arundel County Fair opens its gates at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.

Preparations have been under way for weeks as organizers, exhibitors, vendors and 4-Hers come together as one for the main event of late summer, the county fair.

For generations county fairs have symbolized the very essence of community pride.
