Seems like only yesterday we were all wondering if Y2K would mean the end of the world as we knew it, and now we are entering the final year in the 21st century's first decade. As is the case with every year, 2008 had its highs and lows.

On the Annapolis restaurant scene, the former involved the opening of several impressive new restaurants - the latter marked the closing of some venerable institutions in our area.
Fans of Chef Russell Brown's fabulous cooking at his wonderful West Annapolis Northwoods bid a sad farewell to that restaurant when the doors closed permanently in August. Similarly, those who had fallen in love...
