"I think we're going to some place called Steve's Creek," said the Annapolis newbie to the person on the other end of her cell call. Nope, she was told, you're being introduced to Deep Creek, one of the best local secrets around.
Then off we went to wind our way through the back roads of Arnold until we rounded the bend and up ahead was the friendly little establishment that has been feeding area diners well since 1999.
