Sister Hazel hails from Gainesville, Fla., home of Tom Petty and so many other great musicians from over the years. Sister Hazel has approached making music as a family band with each member contributing songs for their latest release.

The band plays in that classic southern rock tradition, a step or two out of the current mainstream but plenty successful in the age of Widespread Panic and other southern rock leaning jam bands. Sister Hazel appears at Rams Head Live in Baltimore tomorrow night (8 p.m., all ages welcome).
