While sitting down to write this column, I was interrupted by a weird meow/bark in my backyard. After (quite) a few minutes watching the creature as it apparently declared my backyard to be its own, a number of helpful responses to my Facebook query and time spent searching the Web for similar looking creatures, I discovered it was a fox.
Living in Eastport but raised on a farm, I am always excited by any outreach from the natural world into my neighborhood. Regardless, my excitement over this event went on for too long, so please excuse me for the lack of intro this week and let's get right to the entertainment news!
