Bay cleanup could take even longerPublished 03/19/08
With progress toward cleaning up the Chesapeake Bay moving at a painfully slow pace, the federal government is taking the first steps toward tougher actions.
Key bay cleanup officials planned to meet in Annapolis today to discuss the process for creating bay-wide pollution limits by 2011, which would be overseen by the Environmental Protection Agency.
