Energy efficiency program linked to property taxPublished 08/14/08
Annapolis officials want to offer tax-exempt, low interest rate loans to property owners who install energy-reducing additions. And the payments on those loans would be placed directly on property tax bills. "The program eliminates the barriers to financing energy efficiency for Annapolis," Mayor Ellen O. Moyer said yesterday during a press event unveiling the Annapolis EZ (Energy Zone) Program at City Hall.
