If you see a yellow school bus with another bus upside down on the roof, you'll probably look twice.
Casey Gustawarow of Riva sits atop a bus he’s been driving around the country for the past three months, part of an effort to convince the next president to plant an organic garden at the White House. The bus will be at Annapolis City Hall at 7 p.m. Friday.
Riva native Casey Gustowarow is driving around the country in his White House Organic Farm Bus. He'd like to see Barack Obama add an organic garden to the White House grounds.
And that's just what Casey Gustowarow is hoping for.
The 27-year-old Riva native is one half of a duo that's traveling the country in the upside-down bus, promoting the idea of putting an organic farm or garden on the grounds of the White House.
Mr. Gustowarow and his friend Daniel Bowman Simon are growing greens and herbs on the roof and inside the bus, as they take their message to farmers' markets and schools from coast to coast. They'll be at Annapolis City Hall at 7 tonight.
