State to keep killing mute swans

Maryland's secretary of natural resources has decided that state field crews will continue to kill mute swans.

The invasive birds gobble underwater grasses and threaten native birds, leading Secretary John R. Griffin to be 'unfortunately compelled' that the killing should continue.
