The agreement reached last week is one of three conditions set by the state Board of Public Works to finalize transfer of the property to the county.
The property covered by the agreement includes 546 acres of the old Crownsville State Hospital west of Interstate 97, plus the existing 84-acre Bacon Ridge Natural Area.
