The federal government is seeking input as it crafts a "pollution budget" that will set strict limits on pollution flowing into rivers and ultimately the Chesapeake Bay.
Public meetings are scheduled throughout the bay watershed. None are planned for Annapolis or Anne Arundel County, but two of the meetings are within an hour's drive.
On Dec. 8, federal officials will be at the Maryland Department of the Environment headquarters, 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
