ANNAPOLIS - The Annapolis Maritime Museum in Eastport announced it taught 1,200 kids during the last school year.
That's a big increase from the 350 students who were served the year before.
The museum offers free school programs for students from preschool through eighth grade, all focused on local maritime history as well as the environment in the Chesapeake Bay.
The museum gets funding for its student programs from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Carol M. Jacobsohn Foundation, the Bank of America Foundation, the City of Annapolis, the Boatyard...
