WEST COUNTY Crane injurers worker A crane fell on a construction worker in Maryland City this morning and amputated both his legs, county police said. The accident took place about 9:21 a.m. on Orion Circle in the Russett neighborhood. "It looks like about a 100-foot crane fell over while lifting a large block of cement," said Lt. Robert Johnson, of the Western District Station. The worker, whose name wasn't available, was taken by helicopter to the Shock-Trauma Center at University Hospital in Baltimore.
