CROFTON Child found with knife A 7-year-old was charged with weapon possession at a Crofton school Monday morning, county police said. The principal at Crofton Elementary School, 1405 Duke of Kent, told police the child tried to give another child a 5-inch knife with a 2-inch blade in a bathroom. The child, of Odenton, told police he had found the knife at home and had taken it to school. He was charged on a juvenile citation with weapons possession.
