A Glen Burnie man who allegedly held his wife hostage for about two hours in his apartment Wednesday has been identified as a convicted child sex offender by the state Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.
Joseph Paul Lambert, 37, of 395 Old Stage Coach Road, is under guard by state police at North Arundel Hospital for injuries he sustained during the standoff. He was listed in good condition.
