Drunken driving
City police charged a 57-year-old Annapolis man with drunken driving after an accident Friday that injured a 5-year-old boy in the Bloomsbury Square neighborhood.
Leslie Lamont Sedgwick, of 309 Bloomsbury Square, was charged with driving under the influence and driving while intoxicated after his car struck the child while he was riding a bike near 217 Bloomsbury Square shortly after 6 p.m. Friday.
The child was flown by state police helicopter to the pediatric trauma center at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. The child had serious, but not life-threatening injuries, police said.
