Wanda Carper

Wanda Lou Wood Carper, 72, a resident of Riviera Beach for 44 years, died of cancer May 19 in Hemet, Calif.

Born Oct. 28, 1932, in Ohio, Mrs. Carper was the daughter of the late Forrest and Loretta Wood.

A homemaker, she worked for the Maryland Comptroller of the Treasury in Annapolis before retiring and was a former Sunday school teacher.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, her home, travel, gardening, reading and especially crocheting.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Zachary Car- per Jr.; one son, Gary Carper Sr. of Riviera Beach; one daughter, Lou-Ann Wetzel of Catonsville;...
