Fight with police
A 20-year-old Annapolis man fought with police Wednesday after he was approached about carrying drugs, city police said.
Tipped by an informant about drug activity on College Creek Terrace shortly after 5 p.m., officers found Parris Shaye Glover in the area and determined he matched the informant's description.
Officers tried to talk to Mr. Glover, but he tried to run. Police grabbed him, but he continued to struggle and hit an officer in the face with his elbow. Police found a small bag containing crack cocaine in Mr. Glover's pocket.
