Head-on crash
Two people were critically injured Tuesday afternoon after a head on collision at the intersection of Route 450 and South Haven Road, county fire officials said.
William Lenburg Howard, 77, of 2004 Alice St. in Annapolis, and Linda Gale Fimelle, 54, 1400 Nestlewood Court, Crofton, suffered life threatening injuries. They were takent to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
Fire firefighters worked for more than 20 minutes to extricate Mr. Howard and Ms. Fimelle from their vehicles.
