Drug bust
City police found more than $1,100 worth of drugs in an Annapolis man's car Wednesday, city police said.
Kevan Christopher Simms, 103 Victor Parkway, was driving at Forest and Gemini shortly after midnight when police saw him throw a small glass bottle from his car.
Police identified the object as being used to store PCP and arrested Mr. Simms. They searched his car and found $20 worth of marijuana and $1,130 worth of crack cocaine.
He was charged with possession with intent to distribute and failure to stop at a red light.
