SOUTH COUNTY Driver robbed Four men armed with a handgun robbed a motorist while he was stopped at a stop sign in Lothian Saturday evening, county police said. Gerald Franklin Middleton, 34, of Chesapeake Beach was stopped on Sands Road at Mt. Zion Marlboro Road around 6 p.m. when four men approached him and asked for a ride. Mr. Middleton told them he was going the opposite direction, prompting one of the men to pull out a handgun and hold the barrel against Mr. Middleton's neck.
