Police beat: Sept. 8Published 09/08/05
ANNAPOLIS AREA Suspect caught A Baltimore County man wanted in connection with a shooting last week turned himself in to police Monday, city police said. Shaun Donell Joyce, 26, shot Alfred Parker in the leg during an argument on Aug. 29 in the 1100 block of Madison Street, police said. Mr. Parker, 38, was flown to the Shock Trauma Center at University Hospital in Baltimore with injuries that weren't life-threatening. Mr. Parker only knew the shooter through the nickname Smoke and police were soon able to identify Mr. Joyce of Lansdowne, police said.
