Bank robbed
A man robbed a Maryland City bank Monday after slipping a teller a note demanding money, county police said.
Officers responded to the Chevy Chase Bank at 3355 Corridor Marketplace at 9:42 a.m.
Police said the note indicated the robber and teller were being watched, demanded specific bill denominations and warned the teller not to give him any counterfeit cash.
The robber fled with an unidentified amount of money, running across the parking lot of a nearby restaurant.
