Pedestrian hit
A woman was hit by a sports utility vehicle last night while she walked with friends near Hunting Wood Road, city police said.
Donna Sue Usewick, 44, was walking with a group on Hunt Meadow Drive near Hunting Wood Road shortly before 9 p.m. when a 2001 Kia SUV drove onto Hunt Meadow Drive, police said.
Everyone was able to get out of the way, except Ms. Usewick, who was struck.
The SUV driver, a 16-year-old girl from Annapolis, stopped at the scene.
Ms. Usewick was flown to the Shock Trauma Center at University Hospital in Baltimore with serious injuries, city firefighters...
